Earlier this week, two Woodland Joint Unified School District administrators received Silver Star awards from the Association of California School Administrators. According to a Woodland School District press release, Superintendent Elodia Ortega-Lampkin was awarded the Silver Star for Superintendent, while Danielle Sharp, the Director of State and Federal Programs was awarded the Silver Star for Central Office Administrator. 'We are blessed at WJUSD to have a strong administrative team and my role is to empower our site leaders to really examine the needs of our students and use our funding strategically to prepare and empower all students,' Sharp said.
