Earlier this week, Congressman Mike Thompson, D-Yolo, enjoyed somewhat of a professional homecoming when he hosted a congressional open house for his new Woodland office serving the people of Solano and Yolo counties. The packed open house at his new district office, located at 622 Main St., STE 106, in Woodland, ran from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday and offered Yolo County and Woodland residents the chance to meet and briefly speak to Thompson. 'I think this office is really exciting,' Thompson said. 'I'm really happy that Yolo County is back in the district that I represent.
